Went out Black Friday shopping with the family this past weekend. DD decides she needs to pick up a pair of what I will call Chuck Taylors, but they are low cut, but those of you who are old enough will know what I am talking about. Anyhow, while I am standing there, I start thinking about how she blows through shoes each winter pitching in the gym. With the rubber topped toes and and rubber sides of the shoes, will the Chuck Taylor style shoes hold up better to throw indoors in the winter as opposed to regular tennis shoes? My wife keeps telling me just to get the pitchers toe, but I am not sure I am handy enough to get it on correctly. Has anybody used the Chuck Taylor style shoe to pitch indoors and did they hold up better than the regular shoe?
