Has anyone heard/seen anything on this tournament?

If so, can someone post the schedule. Seems like a very high profile tournament with very little communication on teams or games.

This year it is again a high profile tournament because it offers a berth to USA/ASA 16u Nationals. Though in the past it hasn't been big on electronic information, the TD is communicating effectively with the coaches via email, even to the extent of having bracket play mapped out. I've tried to post information we have on the pre-existing Roger Wells Memorial page and the TDs have been great abut responding to any email questions that I have asked.

Shreve/Roger Wells Memorial is a classic Ohio fastpitch experience.

Agree, that the TD is VERY responsive to emails, and the Pool and Bracket Play is now out.

Man, though, anybody else scrambling for Friday game roster with school still in session for some? Or Saturday ACT issues??

I have 2 girls still in high school and 1 taking an A.C.T. I think I have the school worked out but I did tell TD last month but still have an 8am start

First of all .... ooh Rah! ...... we have an 8:00 am Friday game also, and 4 out for ACT on Saturday (OUCH!). Oh well .......

You have players still in school? Wow. I thought last weekend was bad for us and we only had four families with players in school at that point. A coach's bad dream to still have them in school by the 10th of June.

What we are hoping to avoid is those killer 7:00 am starts on Saturday and Sunday. Have a few families that were planning on driving from their homes that day, but I don't think that's going to happen with a 7:00 am start . . .

As for the ACT's, I sympathize but I think all of us need to encourage the players to take ACT's and/or SAT's early for two reasons: 1) to allow the player who has a bad day on the exam to repeat the exam; and 2) to hopefully avoid conflicts with travel ball.

Come up and introduce yourselves next week. I'm easy to spot on three grounds: 1) I'm nearly 60, overweight, and female; 2) I'm burned and have unnaturally blonde hair from last weekend; and 3) Casey the Wonder Dog golden retriever will likely be with me.

Should be a great weekend of ball for all of us once you guys are able to get your full roster there.

Weird with the school schedule this year, .... snow day make-ups pushed it out for some of us in the NE. One of our players actually has an exam! A few of them will probably excuse themselves, as it is the finan day (snow day makeup) with NOTHING going on.

As for the ACT, all of the girls taking it are taking it for the 3rd or 4th time, building the score, for academic reasons and scholarship opportunities .... some pretty smart kids seeking entrance into top schools .... well rounded "character" kids with high goals. A few are already in the 25-29 range looking for the elusive 30 that earns free tuition from OU, or to get into the Ivy's. Hope that doesn't seem snotty, lol, I would like to have them that day!!! But, it gets hard to discourage education and bigger goals at this age, of course ...... we'll just do the right things and hope that the softball gods smile on us, lol. No complaints, life is good!

Me and a buddy are contemplating going up to Shreve to watch the Heat 95 and others. Anyone have a pool play schedule they can post?
