OK, there is a pitching change in the middle of an inning, is it disrespectful, or childish, or ridiculous for the runners that r on base to sit down on the base? Or does that look bad, or lazy...etc...... or am I just asking a silly question?

Runners, batter and ondeck usually huddle with the coach whenever the defense has a conference or pitching change.

I was sooooo bored that night and couldn't sleep. Just remember seeing the girls sitting on the bases.

Yep, we see it all the time. Two things to consider, you may have 3 more games that day - save the legs when you can. Also, maybe the other team is one of those notorius "pitching change to avoid getting another inning in" types. Who is disrespectful now? Once again, save the legs.

I tell my girls to take their helmets off as well to let some heat escape...just be sure time is out!

I don't see a problem with them sitting on the base if they are not doing anything else. It is usually during a tournament and energy conservation is key.

Having said that I'd rather they work on timing their leadoffs to the new pitcher.

I know of one team that had their girls sit there and act like they were rowing a boat...just being silly.

I'm ok with whatever, as long as they aren't doing anything to show someone up!
