Indoor Tournament Sinclair CC 12U Event 2/5-2/6

Our third game was against Ohio Danger. We were goin back and forth thru three innings and then our bats woke up. Final was 11 or 12 to 3. Nice place to play. We will be back every year.

Very rare to have an indoor ball field with near regulation fences! The "english" that a hit ball has and how it reacts with surface of the floor makes for some interesting fielding situations.

Thanks to the Sinclair baseball team for hosting a very nice event. I would also like to thank the teams we faced for the good times. Wish we could have all the teams. We ended up 3-0 for the weekend.

Hope others post their final scores for all to see.

You said it Lester. The Valley Storm wants to thank the Sinclair baseball team for hosting this weekends event. It was nice to play some real ball and have the ladies put in real game situations.

Our day 2 wasn't as good as day 1. First we played the Ohio Danger and lost 18-2. We committed a lot of errors. I do believe I saw some rust drop off some our ladies arms though. Second we played the Central Ohio Ice. Throught the first 3 innings they were up 6-4. It was a good game...until the 4th. We fell apart and ended up losing 15-4...I think.

It was still a great weekend! We learned what we can do well and what we need to work on. Our 1st and 2nd pitchers were out all weekend due to injuries so our #3 and #4 got some good work in real games...and they came through. It doesn't get much better than that.

We also plan on being back every year.

We wish the best of luck to all the teams this spring and summer and want to thank the Ohio Edge, Ohio Danger and Central Ohio Ice for putting us to the test. We look forward to seeing everybody on the diamond.

It was good to meet the folks with the Danger and Central Ohio Ice teams. Also got to catch up with with Tim Adams and his Blazers squad. All teams had plenty of rust. This is a very affordable option to make some player moves and get some quality innings while getting away from the long indoor practice sessions.

We play indoor in a couple weeks at East Central High School in a 14u tourney. Our work is cut out for us for sure! Hope to be competitive with the stronger teams that will be there.

Coach Scott- You are right...the weekend was great to see what we have and what we need to work on. It's unfortunate that you had your #1 and #2 pitchers injured...that can certainly change the course of the game. Hoping they heal soon..

Your team will only get better playing at tournaments like last weekend and I am sure you will come out stronger this spring/summer.

You had us locked down. Glad to see a strong outing by you guys. We struggled a bit in the first couple innings making solid contact. Once we woke up at the plate it really looked like "us". Thought you guys might of got to us by changing pitchers a couple times. Man was that strike zone loooow.

Wish we could have played 2 games on Sunday. I might have to come watch the 14's this coming weekend to get my fix.

The Danger folks are good people and we really like you guys. I know Kavin can't say enough good about Paul and his team. Thanks again and we'll have lots of fun this year I'm sure in your tournament. For wherever reason that kick off tournament has an incredible lineup. Nice job pulling the teams together!

You are absolutely spot on about trying things out Paul - that is what these games are for. This weekend at the All nighter, we never kept the same line-up in the field 2 innings in a row.
