SLuGGerFest Refunds?????

Listen Mr CUT AND PASTE..........
I coached a team in that tournament years ago where we played 2/3rds of an Inning of one game.
We got 70.00 off next years entry that we could not use.

So unlike some I have history with this situatuion

Don't know what all the hubub is about...this I do know:

1-Bob at Rotary should have the highest TD rating around...he busts all he has to get games in when most TD would cancel. I remember sitting in the OUTCAST emcampment last year watching torrential rains all morning and into the afternoon...but Bob and his crew kicked butt and got at least one field playable (maybe more) that evening...he is above reproach!!!

2-Played at Rivershore this weekend...great complex...only one team didn't show hmmm and created forfiets...but all the 16u teams we played were highly talented and showed great sportsmanship...especially the Buckeye Heat and Indy Earthquakes...

3-If you play tournaments in Ohio, especially SW Ohio, they are a crapshoot through June...sorry, but if you don't expect rain on the weekends until July, you are probably new to travel ball in SW Ohio...

And that is why I dont go there anymore.

Had to check all my bases (no punn intended) which I did before posting this and our team has not gotten our full refund from Sluggerfest 2, tournament was cancelled due too "not enough teams". Head coach and myself have made multiple attempts to contact Patty (email and LD phone messages). Guess we'll have to make trip down to Sluggerfest this weekend in between our games at Smokey Baker , or Patty if you see this please contact Cincy Static 99.

I would call her at: 1-800-321-4000 which is the number for the marina her family owns and she runs. Many have had a hard time reaching her. She has the art of avoiding people down pat. This number has been working for them.

We recieved a $100 refund check in the mail from Patty today. The check was for the 14U SluggerFest tournament that was rained out 6/12 -6/13. Thank you Patty.....
