COSTA MESA, Calif. — The Blue and Gold faced a doubleheader scenario after facing and defeating Menlo College with a score of 6-2 to advance to game seven of the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament. This time, the Lions would face the all too familiar foe, William Jessup University who toppled the Pride in the opening round of the tournament. A series of errors committed by Menlo put momentum in Vanguard's favor, who rode the wave all the way to victory.
