CHICKASHA, Okla. - The top ranked University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (37-0, 24-0 SAC) extended their historic win-streak to 44 straight, as they earned a pair of 10-0 wins against Southwestern Christian University (7-17, 3-11 SAC).

GAME 1 -

The Drovers wasted no time to put the game away, scoring 5 runs in the first inning, thanks to homers from Kristen Prieto (JR/Moore, OK) and Tarah Madron (JR/Konawa, OK). USAO scored once in the third inning and extended the lead to 6-0. The defending champs scored 4 more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, before Emily Cerny (SO/Newcastle, OK) struck out the final trio of batters in the top of the fifth, ending the game.

Just prior to Tuesday's double-header, Emily Cerny was announced as the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive week. Cerny had also just been awarded her fourth straight SAC Pitcher of the Week award on Monday afternoon. The star pitcher did not disappoint... She delivered her third no-hitter of season as the Drovers blanked the Eagles. The sophomore struck out 14 out of the 15 total outs that the Drovers recorded in the win.

Tarah Madron had a terrific game, going 2-3 with a homerun and 6 runs batted in. Madron is now batting .366 with 3 dingers and 29 RBI's. Kristen Prieto contributed a 2-2 performance, which included a homer and 3 RBI's. Prieto leads the Drovers with 12 long-balls and she also has a team-high of 57 RBI's. Destinie Lookout (SR/Oklahoma City, OK) got warmed up for finale by going 2-3 with a run scored in the opener.

GAME 2 -

Through the first three innings of the second game of the day, the scoring went exactly as it did in the first game. The Drovers led 6-0 heading into the fourth, when they would add one more run. Destinie Lookout ended the game in the bottom of the fifth with a walk-off, 3-run bomb to left field.

Lookout led the Drover offense, as she finished the game 1-2 with a homer and 4 RBI's. Randa Hatter (JR/Stratford, OK) also left the yard once, and she drove in 3 runs. Alyson Clemence (SO/Washington, OK) and Tarah Madron each finished the win with a double. Dakota Clouse (SR/Blancahard, OK) contributed a 1-2 performance that included a RBI, while Darci Chester (SO/Collinsville, OK) went 1-2 with a pair of runs scored.

Emily Cerny pitched the first inning of the game, and struck out 3 batters. Lyndie Ervin (FR/Washington, OK) pitched four stellar innings to earn the win. Ervin now boasts a 9-0 record, and she has struck out 29 batters in 54 innings pitched. The freshman has not allowed a run in her last 19.2 innings pitched.

No. 1 USAO hopes to extend their historic win-streak when they host Texas Wesleyan University on Friday, April 5 at 5 and 7 PM at Bill Smith Ballpark. This double-header will also be a PINK OUT, so be sure to come support the Drovers and wear PINK!
