WEST POINT, Ga. – Point University softball (10-6; 6-2 AAC) lost game one to Milligan College (6-10; 4-4 AAC), 3-1, and defeated the Buffaloes in game two, 3-1, in Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader action, Friday, March 8 on West Point Park Field. Point's batting average and RBI leader, junior 3B Angela Heimback (Fayetteville, GA), went 2-for-3 with a two-run single in the first inning of game two and is batting .426 with 11 RBI. Coached by Jennifer Tyler (Eighth season), Point hosts Bluefield College, Saturday, March 9, at 12 noon for an AAC doubleheader action at West Point Park Field.
