[Softball] Tigers sweep Knights
Georgetown College softball finished off the sweep of Mid-South Conference newcomer and independent member Kentucky Christian University on Saturday.
The Tigers (28-13, 14-8) tallied a 7-1 win behind the leadership of the three seniors and junior pitcher Hannah Morton. They all gutted out a four-hit, two run win, 2-1, in game two.
Morton went 3-for-3 from the plate in game one and in the circle went five innings, allowing three hits and striking out three. Megan Brankamp finished off the day, going two innings with four hits and a run.
