Flubber you are acurate with your game analysis. your defense was great right from the start when your 3rd baseman caught that slap over her head 2nd basement diving play short stop catch up the middle. it was a pitchers duel thru 5 and then the small ball or miss plays as you called them got wayne rolling and 1 base hit and a over run put it out of reach. your pitcher did a great job tonight as well as all year good luck to butler in the upcoming years.

Scratching my head,neck and back.

No idea what was happening in the game but, depending on who was up, if you let them get 2nd and 3rd and the girl singles the game is tied. If you have confidence in your catcher, you are trading an out for a run. Now you have 2 outs nobody on and a 1 run lead. Inning would make a difference as well.

We have been able to throw some girls out at second in the past without the girl on third leaving the base. Everybody is ready for some sort of cut off play with first and third that more and more coaches have the girl at third staying close to the bag to avoid being picked off.

Northmont plays Xenia tomorrow. Should be a good game they played a pretty good game against us in the regular season. That wayne fairmont rematch will be a good one, can wayne beat fairmont for the third time. After a close call for wayne just a week ago.

I think every game in the gwoc central is a close call, so we all should have experience in those type games. What ever teams comes out off that bracket will be no surprise they are all good and very capable of making a run.

GWOC is still in the hunt....

5/17 at Fairmont's field Troy vs. Lebanon (don't think they will win by 37 runs this game!)

5/17 at West Carrollton's field Northmont vs. Wayne - battle of the titans!

5/17 at Bellbrook's field Centerville vs. powerhouse Lakota

No doubt that the Northmont vs. Wayne game is the best of those games. I'm not going to pick a winner, but I do see it being a 1 run game either way.

Lebanon will easily handle Troy.

Lakota is not the powerhouse that everyone makes them out to be but they should be 1 or 2 runs better then Centerville. However I would not be surprised by a slight upset here if Centerville pulled it off.

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Thanks Megasportsmom and Miamisburg Softball, "B" really appreciates it. We are very proud of how she has done, but as she will tell you, there is no "I" in team. She has been fortunate to have played with some great team members. This year is no exception. Offense and Defense has played a big part in their (her) success. We are honored to have her recognized, but feel more honored with the great friends she has made and we have made. Not only from our team, but from other schools out their like Mason, Miamisburg, Centerville, Fairborn, Kings, Clinton Massie, Lakota West, Glen Este and on and on.
Congrats to all the young ladies, we look forward to seeing everyone. Thanks again, Gary, Anita, Bethany

Re: To Quiet in the GWOC

Some scheduling for Northmont for next season. Along with are trip to Florida again this year. We will probably be playing in the North vs. South showdown in Lebanon again after taking last year off. We will be playing a doubleheader vs. two Cincinnati teams in Lebanon. It will be a very good test to see where our team is at next year.
