I don't see anything wrong with this, people giving opinions. Some may include themselves, but again, I don't see anything wrong with that either. It's interesting to see what teams others think are worthy of mention. It doesn't necessarily have to be in poll form.

Thanks for the Classics 02 mention. Classics 02 has beat Valley Extreme, Cinci Static Elite Purple, and taken Green 8 innings in ITB (ended in loss for Classics 02). With all the 02 talent, next season is going to be crazy at 14U for these 02 teams.

Classics '02 deserves a LOT of mention. That team is legit already, and next year they will be even stronger as their players get older, bigger, stronger and faster. They don't even need to get faster...they already have one of the (overall) fastest teams out there!
Lots of kudos to Jason for what he has done with assembling and coaching those girls. He's one of the good ones out there.

Let's see...there is one head coach per every 10-12 players out there. That's one head coach who gives up a TREMENDOUS amount of his/her personal time to help your daughter become a better player and succeed in this game. I would say they deserve some praise, especially when they do a good job of it. Jason does.
And for the record, I coach against him. I'm not a parent from that team, if that's what "toot that horn" implied.

Lasers White definitely stated their case this past weekend at Fire in the Sky.

We played the Classics in elimination at fire in the sky. They are very good. We were one hit away from beating them but we lost by one run. A very good team. Also some respect for Hawks Wagner and Hawks Bray. Both of these teams are amazing. Also, the Valley Extreme Kelm has some serious pitching. It took us 4 innings just to foul off the ball ;). They are not in Ohio but the best team I have seen in this age bracket is the midland magic out of Illinois. They were 12U ASA national champions last year. They are loaded. If you get a chance to see them, check them out. We played them earlier this year and they beat us pretty easily. The coaches and parents were extremely nice people. The 14U in Ohio is very strong!

We haven't played much in Ohio this year but I have seen some teams

Emeralds 01
Laser White
Outlaws Premier 01
Ohio Glory 01
Valley extreme Kelm
(Whatever team the old Hawks-Robinson team is now, I'm drawing a blank but played them in the fall and as always he does a nice job)
Wolfpack- Dr Eddie

The 01 group has been beating each other up since 10u, it's a really respectful fun group to play against .

Lots of good teams but those are the teams that I've enjoyed competing against over the years and have a tremendous amount of respect for

I don't usually post on here but I had to chuckle at Stretch's response! Love it stretch! Unfortunately your list of teams is like Sasquatch to some.

If you look on TournamentASA you can see a team's Power Rankings and also their ranking within the MVP system. The drawback of that is that you must play the ASA tourneys, so it is not including teams who play in showcases, or PGF or other sanctions.
Still gives you a ton of info about teams, who they have played, beat etc.

This is true for USSSA http://usssa.com/fastpitch/Team1/#/?gdSport=16 and to a lesser degree NSA http://www.playnsa.com/PlayerSearch.aspx?sort=Sanction

Trick with ASA rank I think it only goes by region - I know the Ohio ASA and PA Rankings are different
