Just wondering in your opinion who the top ten 14u teams in Ohio are? ?There are so many good 14u teams I wasn't sure who would top the others.

Laser Green is number one hands down. after that, it can change any weekend.
I'll take the easy way out and list number twos (in no particular order until they play a best of 5 round robin series as:

Laser Orange
Ice Richard

Chain Reaction

Hartman gonna disagree a little with yah. Although the Ice Richards, Lasers Orange and Chain Reaction are very good 13U's who have adjusted and competed well at 14U this year. All 3 have lost to either the Lasers Silver or Ohio Slammers 12U teams, so I would tend to put them in the 2nd tier at 14U for now.

Have seen the Valley Extreme Blue playing up at 16U at Spano this winter and they are the "Real Deal". Have also seen the Cincy Doom at the Spano Dome and I beleive they beat Ice Newsome for the championship. I also saw somewhere on OFC that they run ruled both the Miami Valley Express and the Lasers Orange too, so I would tend to put them in the top tier. Have not seen the Buckeye Heat or Nightmare so not sure where they stand.

I do agree with the Lasers Green as your top pick though, they are tough top to bottom!

Ice Richards is 3-1 against the Chain Reaction, 1-0 against the Lasers Orange, 1-0 against Ice Newsome and 1-1 against the Grove City Nightmare. They have not played the Valley Extreme Blue or the Lasers Green yet. Cincy Doom, MV Express Red, Lasers Green and Valley Extreme Blue (no particular order) would have to head the list at 14u.

After witnessing this weekends tournament at Sparta, I have to say again that the Lasers Green are number one, bar none. There will be a scramble for the number two spot, so we can wait until the NSA state tournament when all comers will probably attend. This can settle many arguments.

After the Lasers Green, will come as follows (based on last two weeks) and the order can be interchangable

Nightmare
Ice Richard
Valley Extreme Blue
Cincy Doom
Ice Newsome

That's a good call by valleyextreme, I believe all of those teams will be there then some
(Diamond Chix, Indiana Shockwave, Buckeye Heat, Laser Orange, etc.)

Ice Richards just won there first championship this year against a great Ice Newsome team
Laser oarnge - Great addition in the high schoolers

Each week is a new week !! Ice Richards has struggled until this week. Maybe they are coming around.

I bet you can combine all the top 5 teams and not have more than 10 loses this year.

Valley Sting won the Willoughby qualifier for 14U last weekend and is very tough. I would put them up there.

I would agree that Lasers Green and Valley Etreme Blue are top notch. The rest seem to jump around a lot. Lasers Orange seem to struggle with consistancy as they have beat some very solid teams such as Nightmare and Stingrays and lost only by 2 to the Valley extreme Blue late in the game on errors. Then they will lose to a very beatable team. You figure that one out???

It's still pretty early in the outdoor season, and alot of these teams are still juggling their lineups trying to get the right combination. ?
The teams that are getting it done, are teams that have been together for several years, and have not had the coaching or player turnovers.
