I have heard the homer thing as well when playing at Compuware against Compuware or maybe Michigan teams in general.

We've never played against Compuware up there, but will this year in pool. We have played Finesse twice and never had any problem.

Last year we played against Compuware and didn't experience any problems with umpires. I believe this tourney brings in umps fromm all over the US. I know we had umps from nevada doing one of our games. As far as getting homered I believe you don't have to go to another state sometimes to get homered. It can happen in your backyard!!!!!!

We have always had a great time at Comuware and we build oue schedule around this tourney.

Well ,it looks like the Lasers Green came with a purpose.. to play some ball at Compuware..Their entire squad proved once again that they are a force to be reckoned with..

Although they came up short in the championship game.. :-/, they never gave up and had the Valley Extreme sweating in the end..(no pun intended ..it was smokin' hot this weekend)..congrats to the Lasers Green.. ?Congrats to the Valley Extreme..they have a great team as well..maybe there will be a rematch in Normal, Ill.. ?hmmm..

Valley Extreme made a believer out of me this week with an impressive win over the Lasers Green. The wear of having to play your best game in and out put the most deserving for the weekend on top. I hope to see all in a double elimination tourney soon.

It was definiyely a great game. And yes we were sweating from not just the heat. Both teams knew this game wouldn't end until the last out was recorded. And even that was a challenge!!!!!!
Great game against two very evenly matched teams. We did compare schedules and it looks like Normal might be the only place for a rematch. Hope to see you there in an "ALL OHIO" final.

Saw some great games this weekend. Congrats to the Valley Extreame on a nice win over the Lasers Green. Was a little disappointed that the Indy Dreams and Indiana Shockwaves White were not playing at Compuware in 14U. They are 2 of the best 14U in the midwest and shouldv'e been there IMHO. Also wouldv'e been nice if the Cincy Doom, Valley Sting and Lasers Orange were there, they are 3 of the better teams in Ohio. Does anyone know where any of these 5 teams were playing this weekend?

The cincy Doom was in Chicago playing in a ASA regional national qualifier finishing 2nd. Had a great tournament playing some really good teams.

I hope that all 20 teams listed will be in attendence down at Tealtown for NSA "A" States for what could really turn out to be some great games. I hope to see a rematch between Lasers Green and Valley Extreme Blue. I would also like to see Valley Extreme Blue play Cincy Doom 92 again. Also wouldn't mind seeing MVX Red now that they have all their players play the GCKA Nightmare. An Ohio Ice Richards and Laser Orange matchup (IMHO the 2 best 13U teams in the state) would be nice, although I wouldn't count out MVX Pearson and HOO force as top 13U teams. How about C.O. Stingrays Blue vs Valley Sting contest...I beleive that would be a great game. Ohio Pride Lalli vs Buckeye Heat Allen could go either way, and would be a good game to check out.

Of course I haven't checked out what teams are actually going to Tealtown NSA A but I thought I would dream of what could possibly transpire. If anyone has any inside dope on what the pools look like, please share.
