Uniform Blowout 11u / 14u Oct. 3rd DOVER, OH

I will be holding a Uniform Blowout event for the 11u and 14u teams at Dover Park and Rec Fields in Dover, Ohio on Sunday, October 3rd.

This event is sponsored by myself and the City of Dover Parks and Recreation Dept.

The event is a three game round robin between four teams .

1st Place Prize: Uniforms valled at $600.00 dollars. Your choice of supplier.
2nd Place: Hoodies

TWO major prizes with only four teams entered. Good odds !!!

The event will be sanctioned under Global Sports Authority (www.globalfastpitch.com). Global fastpitch rules can be found at this link: http://globalfastpitch.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=62 . This organization is coach friendly as you can have up to 11 batters and a base burner. The base burner is a player that is designated as a runner and can be entered into the game at any time to run the bases for another player. No limit on the amount of times per inning a base burner can substitute and run for another player.

Entry fee is $350.00 with $25.00 sanctioning included in the entry fee. TWO UMPIRES PER GAME AND FULL GAMES ARE PLAYED.

11u division especially designed for the 11u teams and them not having to play 12u divison ball.

Great opportunity to "equal" the competition.

If every one that has asked about the event would have got in by now... we'd be full.

Sitting on the fence is not an option for the Uniform Blowout events. I have to have four dedicated teams enter for the tournament to go off so prizes can be given.

You all wait until on each other and thus the tournament doesn't go off and you wonder why.

There's your reason why.

Because Dover Park and Recreation is supporting this event.. and not charging a field usage fee.. I can give out hoodies for second place as well.

Seems like to me that's pretty good odds on winning something major.

For the info on the 11u event.... I have had the Ice and another 11u team in a PM today and another called Pittsburgh Pride 11u team.

If the three get in.. we have one more to find.

dover park is a great place to play softball played fall ball down there last year parking was good and the fields were really nice

Dover is a very nice place to play. If I would have put the 14u on the October 24th date.. two teams out of Toledo would have made the drive to play at Dover. That says a lot for their park.

This event is cancelled. Ohio Ice 11u coming to Goshen to play in the Uniform Blowout on October 16th ( Saturday).
