Where is the tournament played and/or the address of the fields?
Thanks

The Tournament is at Melvin Miller Park in Urbana. You can Google that and get directions to the park. the Park has no physical address.

I second that. Forecast is not looking so good. Hopefully it will at least hold off until Sunday.

Need a little help. I googled Melvin Miller Park in Urbana OH and it turned up nothing useful. Never been there; where are the fields? Thanks.

Where to start, where to start, where to start. 12 teams times $400 = $4,800. Not ONE bag of field dry to be found. Knew the weather was to be wet and not ONE bag!!! Blows my mind. I don't even know where to start with the umpires. First game that was played, a minimum of 10 blown calls between BOTH teams. $400 per team and ONE umpire per field. TD decides to END the tournament tonight because of the weather that is suppose to be coming in over night and tomorrow. All the teams played in a fairly steady drizzle ALL day. I know weather plays a factor in tourneys but what a joke! Heard more than a few coaches p***** off at the whole thing. Swore they would NEVER be back. Can't say I blame them. Fields were hardly touched in between games, if at all. Glad it is over and looking forward to the next one.

Not sure who Alias 1 is, but everything you said is 100% true. What you forgot to mention is that those fields at Melvin Miller park appear to be baseball fields. Not a good situation for fastpitch pitchers having to pitch from an elevated position. Diamond 8 in particular has so much slope I can honestly say it was built on a hillside. This will be our last visit to Melvin Miller Park. And yes, the lack of Quick-Dri was inexcusable given the forecast. Heck I would have even been happy with some sand.

First I would like to congratulate the Ohio Hawks Gold on the 3-0 pool play giving them 1st place. TD decided to call tournament and give winners after pool play but had the teams play 1st round of bracket play. Instead of awarding teams after 1st round of bracket play he awarded teams after pool play. Above posts are correct about the horrible field conditions and NO field dry. I saw 1 rake come out and rake the pitching area, rake off some mud and put it in a bucket and then rake less wet mud into the hole for the pitchers. The 10U bracket allowed 4 outfileders?! I haven't seen that since rec league but was allowed in a travel tourney? All in all I am proud of my girls and how they played with a 3-1 finish and scoring 44 runs in 4 games with wins over Licking county Stars, Xtreme Heat, and Vicking Elite and our 1 loss in pool play to Ohio Hawks Gold. I chalk it up to getting in some games and experience. I will have to say my team will pass on any future Urbana tournaments. I know tourneys deal with weather but there were definetly better solutions for this tourney.
