What was the birthday cut-off for the tournament? Could you play as a 10year old and have a 1997 b-day?

This was a 2009 Qualifier so for 10u you should be no older than 10 currently and and turning 11 after Jan 1 2009.

Since this was a 2009 qualifier, I thought you could be 10 now, as long as your birthday is before 12-31-08.

14U Patchin had allot of fun also! We are fairly new with 6 new girls on the roster. Have allot of work ahead of us ,got to get the girls in better shape! :)
I suggested pushups and squat thrusts, 50 per day! :lmao: (Just kidding!!)
Ours have had 3 fall ball weekends together before the tournament.

We played against some VERY talented girls! Our girls gave it their all. Got pretty beat up doing so. We are investing in lots of knee guards for the Summer. :lmao: It was so much fun to watch from the sidelines though.

Might see some of you in a winter tournament somewhere. ;) Best of luck to all the teams that were in the tournament in 2009 season!

I heard you can play withthis year (08) 10 year old, meaning playing u12 next year. Said it had to be under 50% of girls on team. Doesn't make sence if tourney is for next year.

Not true in Ohio from conversations with NSA. Also with V.E. org..
Now on the other hand alot of shady things go on across the border.
Why would a team due that anyway. Oh I forgot we are all not honest and would do anything to try to get that trophy.

Juice,

Are you questioning a teams age that was in the 10U Bracket? Just wondering what border is in question. In PA we question teams also. As EC12 points out I guess what people will do for a trophy.

Yep, two years in a row played against 2 full teams that should have moved on. This year just found out about a couple of girls are playing in a fall tournament. As you stated what is important.

But, the only WPA team in the VE tournament was the Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunners. Are you questioning their roster?

Not sure what you are talking about was helping someone with there question. Nobody even mentioned Pitt. Lady RR so rest easy. Was not questioning roster just pointing out that we have played fall in PA before and the Western PA NSA let a team with 7 14U players( they had to move up) play 12U When questioned was told it was his decision and that was it.
