besides not being the "butt" of ringer's jokes, or being a butthead, or even looking at butts, i have spent my time...

1 stalking teams we'll play at Ft. Wayne and Kent State on the internet
2 hosting football parties
3 playing lots of guitar hero
4 updating myspace account (yes, I have one)
5 teaching, grading papers, making fun of my 5th graders
6 movies
7 sending scratched DVD's back to Netflix
8 reading "Wolves of the Calla"
9 figuring out my DD (which, actually should be number 1)
10 figuring ways to unplug bretman's account so i can have addicted status first
11 watching little statbaby try to turn on her own without losing her socks when she rubs her feet together like a little cricket
12 bowling on Wednesday!
13 rigging my crocs so i can still wear them (my button strap broke yesterday and a paper clip and rubber band are holding them together!)
14 downloading Street Fighter on XBox and realizing I forgot how to do Ryu's "hadouken" move
15 church (this is NOT a list of importance, so don't go there)
16 grading papers
17 leaving tirades on the CEA blog about testing
18 grounding my DD and then ungrounding her
19 little statman's tumbling class on monday nights!
20 an occaisional basketball game at Ridgeview
21 softball clinics at Capital

Maybe we need to ease up on the ol' (stat) man. We don't want him to go all Bigtrain on us and disappear forever. The place just wouldn't be the same. :'(

Crocs hurt like heck when hit in the head with them. Found that out when my 2 year old decided to use one to wake me up one Sunday morning. Personally give me a pair of sandals (not the thong kind) and Im good for the whole summer!

To help pass time til May

1. Traveling on Saturday and Sundays to watch my daughter and boys basketball games (travel league/rec ball).

2. Watching games from the `07 season (I taped all the softball games) and cheering the same good hits or pitched games, or yelling at the umps again for blown calls.

3. For some strange reason the wife thought it would be cute to have all 4 of our kids birthdays in the winter months, including hers.

4. As listed above checking out other team sites to scout the competition.

5. Watching the Presidential race to see which nut gets in there in `09.

I'll be teaching summer school, I know that...i should try to scam some poor kid up for tutoring, but that just wouldn't be ethical ;)

Yeah Statman, but you have got to admit that being a teacher is the best job because after traveling home Sunday afternoon you don't have to get up Monday morning because its summertime!!! That's why I love my job as a teacher ;)

I'm with you...my Monday's, I'm dragging, I don't know about the other Statdad's out there....yeah, even during summer school, I'm in at 9, out at noon, lunch at Applebee's, play at home with the kiddies...it's all good, maybe even a vacation to Texas to see the "homeys"

Statman, don't be to hard on yourself about the ethics of being resourceful. I wish I had teachers that would have taught me to make money for myself, and not others when I was younger. Could be a catapult for the next Bill Gates (or Jenny Finch, if they have a nasty fast ball).

As for me, I'm passing time till May trying to figure out how to make money for myself and not others. My last great idea (SpongeBob Round Pants) failed. Some guy beat me to the punch on that one.
