I'm going! My DD can't wait to see Jennie Finch! Tickets say gates open at 4:30...wonder if they will be lined up to get in? :

Heard it was going to be packed. Heard they were going to block off Firestone Parkway and wanted to shuttle people. I'm going down at lunch to scope out a parking spot. DD wants to be there at 4. Wife still doesn't understand :-/

I understand it is general admission but what did they do? ?Sell 3 times as many tickets as Firestone will hold? ? :-?

Dropped my daughter and her friend off at 4:45. ?When we pulled up, it did not look like there was a seat available and the hill was already 1/4 full with a bunch more waiting to get in.

Suppose I should just feel fortunate that I let my daughter talk me into giving up my ticket for her buddy but I can't help but feeling slightly shafted. ? >

Did not realize when I bought the tickets a couple months ago that a ticket did not guarantee a seat in the ball park. ?Is it just me or wouldn't you think the Racers / promoters would have differentiated between a ticket for a seat and a standing room ticket?

Of course, it is probably a lot easier to sell tickets when the buyers think they are actually getting a seat. ?I suppose since they can't put anyone in the seats to watch the typical Racers games they gotta make it up some how. ?:-[

When the stadium seats sold out, they sold lawn tickets that were specially marked.
I was on the hill and it wasn't bad. Better than no ticket.
DD had fun and got her picture taken with Jessica Mendoza.

I was on the hill to. Right infront of Team USA's bullpen. I got all kinds of great pics of Abbott, Finch and Cat. I also got pics with Lovie Jung, Laura Berg and Coach Candrea It was a great time! Does anyone know what the 55/50 numbers were????????? :
