Guys I saw this recently posted as a blog, but I would love to toss this out for the OFC peanut gallery's comments.
Let me start this process as the coach of a not-so-bad true 11U team. I will list off a bunch of top-ranked 11U teams who could be a major force next year.
In no particular order:
Ohio Glory '01. Yup-don't overlook us. Lots of depth, experience, solid pitching, fundamentals and experienced coaches.
Lasers Green. Lee's angels have already proven themselves as a contender this year. They will be near the top of everybody's list.
Stingrays '01-Tony's team is solid from top to bottom. Plays late on Sunday already...next year will not only be playing late, but getting lots of pictures on the diamond receiving hardware at 7PM on Sunday.
Grand Slam '01. Major contender as 10U team last year. Making noise all year long and is a team to be feared next year.
Xtreme '01. Boys this team is all around solid. Hits well, solid pitching...good fundamentals. Don't think you have an easy road if they are in your path.
Ohio Ice-Bristow. I haven't seen Terry's team yet this year: However being on the receiving end of a throttling last year I can assume they are delivering that same result to many teams this year. His kids were big, fast, and hard hitting. Has a blazer for a lead pitcher last year. Again...don't know if his roster has changed much.
Buckeye Heat '01. Nick has done a tremendous job with those girls. They hit very well and play solid defense. Giving lots of '00 teams more than they want to see right now. Certainly a force.
There are probably a few I haven't mentioned because I personally haven't bumped into them. However, with the history of their organizations you know they will field a top rated team. Static, Hawks, Ice, Classics, others?
Let's have some fun with this, boys!
