I'm just a mom. ?The apple of my eye is my 16yr old dd who pitches and plays the end bases for her teams. ?I used to play slow pitch when I was her age, and now that I'm an old geezer, I just love watching her do her thing. ?

She has so much more talent and knows so much more about the game than I ever dreamed of. ?I just sit on the sidelines and let her amaze me. ?It's a great ride. ?

Also play in the Columbus Men's Fastpitch league every Thursday night from April to September.

I am the founder and TD of the Mt. Vernon Silver Bullets Shootout and the Sparta Summer Shootout tournaments, Ohio's first 8 game guaranteed tournaments. I am also incharge of the ASA Umpire's Association in Knox County. I have been an assistant coach at Mt. Vernon High School aswell.

Pittsburgh Furies 12u manager/3rd base coach. I'm the loud(positive way...usually) 3rd base coach who probably annoys the heck out of our players giving instructions, the same ones over and over, to them after each pitch. Spend way too much time on here, though not as much as one would think seeing as I'm always signed in. Work from home on a laptop so its always right here. dd plays ss, mainly. Love this OFC place even though we're from Pittsburgh. Have met alot of other OFC posters at tournaments and would love for more OFC people to stop by and say hello at a tourney.

I am the mom of one of the pitchers/centerfielders from the Pittsburgh Power Shepard 14U. We too enjoy the OFC and the many wonderful people of the softball community we have met throughout the years. We enjoy playing in our OH neighbor's tournaments and look forward to playing those of you who will be traveling to our tournament in July.

Look for me, while my DD is not playing, I will probably be selling T-Shirts or adding more sunscreen to girls who don't want it.
