I do not coach, I along with BadMedicine wanted to start an Organazation for the young ladies of west central Ohio. This year we are fielding 6 teams 10u thru 18u.

I'm the Head Coach for Cincy Static 10U, second year at 10U... new team both years. I have a DD on the 10u and a DD on the 12U Static Teal, she was on the very first Static team. Luvin' it!! Probably more than them, I know, I need help.... I'll go reread the 12 Steps. Fastpitchblue, don't scold me for my addiction!!

Also do a ton of organizational "stuff" for the Static and spend about 3 minutes a day on OFC...;&

Step 1 ... my name is pickledad, I am a sports junkie and addict

Step 2 ... I am more passionate about dd's sports than she is ... and she is VERY passionate

Beyond those baby steps, dd plays OF for Sapphires 14u, and is learning to ignore my rants and become her own young lady, student, and athlete ... a good thing. I am successfully driving towards becoming her own person. I will lure her back to be "friends" though in a few years with money and car keys ...

Other than that, I keep the book, do what picklemom tells me to do (mostly :), and enjoy my 4 kids immensely (one of which is in uniform on the other side of the earth right now, hooah).

High School/ASA Umpire. Help with my oldest DD's junior high club team (same team as Lake Erie Hillbilly's DD) and my youngest DD's 4th & 5th grade team in Norwalk. Oldest also plays for Lady Faultless 14U out of Ashland (she's the tiny one despite her 6' 5" dad).

Will do! Funny thing is she cant play without those crazy glasses. She is so used to them she feels weird playing without them (like a night game). Even when she is pitching she has to have them on, LOL!

That is why early on (9U season) she got the knick name "Hollywood"!

Besides my coaching duties, I am co-director of the I270 Softball League with Mike Flanagan, commissioner of our community select softball program - Olentangy Lightning, and tournament director of the GAPSS softball tournament (also use GAPSS-TD as OFC user profile to make communication easy and so it can be passed to future TDs)

I have 3 DDs 12, 7, 3 - so I am likely in this for the long run. However to be honest, when I re-read my post - I am pretty sure I am crazy.
