I think any teams entered in any tournaments for the rest of the summer needs to pull out. This place is horrible!!!!!! The bathrooms do not work and the one that does has no toilet paper or paper towels. If that is not bad enough the fields are a mess. Usually if the fields don't get lined between games teams are upset. Well it doesn't look like anyone has drug or even ran the weed eater behind home plate. Yes I mean inside of the field the weeds were knee hi behind home plate. If by chance you do decide to go to these tournaments, then by all means make sure you take your wallet. You are going to need it with gatoraid at $2.75 and a chili dog at $3.00. I have been to many different tournaments and I have never posted about any of them, but this should not be allowed to go any further. The T.D. is raking in money from our teams and he is not putting one penny back into these fields. There are way too many tournaments out there, if we are going to pay top dollar then by all means the place should do something with the fields and restrooms.

I think you are being to hard on this tournament. We are playing at adjacent fields Melvin Lake. Dougout are very nice. Umpiring has been fine nothing any worse than we have seen anywhere else. In fact they have called alot of things that usually get missed! Lots of shade for spectators.

The directors had to deal with rain delays last night and kept us very well informed as to what was going on.

Am unhappy they put time limit on championship games. That is usually a no no. Bags are not secured. Those are my main complaints. Will see after this morning as we have one game left.

If you have time go over and take a look at the main fields. They are unsafe! I have to agree with you the umpiring has been fine. However the dougouts we were using yesterday had nails sticking through the roof.

I would also like to send best wishes to the girls who got hurt yesterday.

We were also at the other facility all day (Melvin lake fields) and had no problems whatsoever.
The umpiring we had for 18 & over games was exceptional if not the best ive seen this year, knowledgable on the rules, accomodating when asked something, and had a good control of the game.
The concessions are different than at the main fields, your typical small ballpark menu, so we cant really comment on that...
As for the field conditions, they were lined and dragged at the beginning of the day, kept in good condition, granted they didnt water between each inning and the grounds crew didnt dance to "YMCA" at 2nd base, but again youre not playing at Cynergy field , i think the complaining sometimes gets taken a little too far on here....

Schedules are posted on the pastime website. Another weird day from the west side. Two games in the morning then as much as 10.5 hour break until the next game, while 1/2 the 12's play 3 in a row - what a screwy schedule...
