USSSA Tournament Pastime Park Tournament Schedule -2009

Same thing just happened to us T.D. need to have tournaments with the girls and parents in mind not how much money they can make. 4gg well we lost our first one after being number 1 seed and was told we were done we only played three games and was told that i will try to get you a forth game but it wont be till about 3:30- 4:00 well the championship game is at 3:00 just dont understand will not be back at all .Good luck MARTY ENJOY YOUR SPENDINGS.

I enjoyed the competition and meeting with all the other teams at Pastime. However, in the 14U tournament, we too won our pool. We won our first elimination a game and then lost in the semi-finals. A team that we beat 9-2 in pool play won the consolation bracket and got a trophy. The other team we beat in pool play 16-0, got the runner-up consolation. I feel violated!

This was a poorly ran tournament all the way around. They had some umps that had NO business being there at all. We had a guy in the field who could barley walk as a field ump?!? Oh and did you know that if a you hit a ball and it hits the white line before it goes foul infront of first base....that's a fair ball!?!?!?:lmao::lmao::lmao:

One of the problems our team had was during Pool Play we had 2 umpires but in the Bracket Play we only had 1. I noticed another field of 16U teams had 2 umpires during Bracket Play- isn't 2 needed?? There were really close calls that would have been answered with a field umpire.

Another question popped in our minds last night during the bad storm and sirens sounding- what would happen if there was a tornado? Is Pastime Park equipped with a basement or any other park for that matter? Or do we kiss our "bases" goodbye?

Now for the complaint.
One umpire per field is unacceptable and this TD better figure it out quick or he will not be in business long. Talked to one umpire at the concession and he only did one game today and that’s all they scheduled him for. So if you only had one umpire today you were wronged. I hope this TD enjoys your extra cash it won’t last long when people here how he is treating them.

I was hoping you guys did since you beat us!!! I imagine it was the Blaze or the Valley Storm, but I haven't heard anything. I assume you guys played the Blaze this morning.

Too bad we couldn't finish the game, I thought we might have been building some momentum, but in the end, you guys scored when it counted and came out on top. Losing or winning by a run or two is always the best way....!

You guys have a great group of girls, great catcher and pitchers definitely took us to school - 10 K's on 21 plate appearances!

When we were done subbing for SDS we stuck around and watched the 16U final. The final was MC Blaze 2, Westside Thunder 0. It was a great game with a lot of good pitching. Good job Blaze!

It's makes no sense to be promised 4 gg, win both pool games get the number one seed. Then lose to a very good Cincy Ice team in a questionable TD decision, then get told, Im sorry but you are done. Who ever managed this tournament needs to find another "Pastime" no play on words just facts. Early in the season just looking to play games, it's a shame to be treated that way, go Outcast.

Sounds like Pastime Park needs to refund $82.50 to each team that only played 3 games.

$330.00 entry fee Divided by 4 = $82.50 per game.
