OPPORTUNITY!!!
Due to unforeseen circumstances that have transpired since tryouts with a couple of players that we have developed over the past several years we are now in search of two more quality players for the upcoming season. We have already added two excellent players to our team through our tryout process who are already blossoming and benefiting from our proven developmental system....opportunity is now knocking for two more to join that process! Until now our Cincy Static Neon '01 team has experienced virtually ZERO turnover in the four years that it has existed. This is RARE and has been due to the culture here and the long term objectives that we have set out for our players to achieve.

TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The Cincy Static Neon '01 team based out of Harrison, OH is coming off of its third VERY successful season in a row. In each of the last three seasons we have qualified for and played in the ASA "A" Nationals (10U, 11U and 12U). This year we qualified for the ASA Hall of Fame, USSSA World Series and the USFA WS as well but as usual we elected to play in the 12U "A" ASA/USA Nationals in 2014. Our schedule in 2014 was mainly ASA "A" (three 12U "A" ASA/USA NQ tournaments, one 12U "A" ASA HOF NQ, two ASA ENQ) but we also played in such great events as Stingrays PGF, USFA State tourney and USSSA WSQ as well. Our 2014 fall schedule will include plenty of practice, friendlies, fall tournaments and hopefully our third annual college "light the fire" event. In the winter we will workout indoors and maybe do a couple of highly competitive indoor events. We usually start our spring schedule at the end of March or in early April depending on the weather. The 2015 schedule will be very similar to this past season with a couple of subtractions to make room for a couple of more nice additions to an already great schedule. I am heading into my 19th season coaching girls and I have a seasoned staff of coaches that include former collegiate players and varsity coaches. The coaches on our teams go the extra mile by attending the best coaching clinics available. We are also closely affiliated with what we consider to be the best pitching, hitting/slapping and catching instructors in the area. This is a very special team that is comprised of a group of committed players, parents and coaches that are dedicated to seeing every player achieve their goals...noNe dividEd and One uNited!!!

CINCY STATIC NEON '01 TEAM NEEDS 2015: TWO players...We will consider ALL positions...playing time is earned!!!
PITCHER= We will consider a strong pitcher/position player...must have great control and good command of multiple pitches.
CATCHER= We will consider a strong catcher/position player...must have a strong bat.
MIDDLE INFIELD= We will consider a strong middle infielder with speed...slapper or power would be a plus.
CORNERS= We will consider a strong corners player...must have strong bat.
OUTFIELD= We will consider a strong, speedy outfielder/utility...slapper or power would be a plus

Any player who intends to tryout for our team must possess the three A's...ATTITUDE (a good one...lol), ACADEMICS (good grades) and Athleticism (talent). She and her family MUST be committed to this sport above all others with the long term goal of playing at the next level. DISTANCE is not an issue...as long as you can make a long Sunday afternoon practice, are self motivated enough to do your work at home during the week and can make all tournaments we will consider you. We currently have several players traveling considerable distances to be a part of this team.

HOW TO SET UP AN EVALUATION:
Should you be interested in a private tryout with our team please contact us and we will arrange to evaluate your daughter in a low pressure environment at one of our team workouts. If you have any questions please contact Sonny Ross at 513-324-1447 or email us at cincystaticfastpitch@yahoo.com. Please feel free to visit our facebook page at www.facebook.com/CincyStaticNeon01 or visit our website at www.cincystaticfastpitch.com.

Thanks,

We have been looking at several players over the last couple of months. I think that it is a strong testament to our team that each player that we have looked at has wanted to make our Cincy Static Neon '01 team their home. We had filled both of the two spots that we had available through this process. Unfortunately, as a coaching staff we recently made the very tough decision to release two players due to lack of commitment issues! It is not within our philosophy to allow players that are working so hard to be held back by players that are not showing the same drive, desire and determination to achieve their goals. The only way players develop and get better is through participation in practice, attending any necessary instruction and following up with the tools they are given from this at home. As of 2/1/2015 We are looking for ONE and possibly TWO more HUNGRY and COMMITTED players who desire to play in college to complete our 2015 roster. We are currently doing our winter workouts every Sunday from 1-4pm. Should you be interested in being evaluated please contact me at 513-324-1447 or you can email us at cincystaticfastpitch@yahoo.com to make arrangements to attend a workout. Any new player coming in will have the same opportunity to earn a starting spot as any player that is already on our team...top 9 will start!

Thanks,

Finally able to get outside on the dirt... !!! Boy were the girls excited about that after working so hard indoors all winter long. We have been looking at several players over the winter and we appreciate those of you that have come out. We picked up one of those players but we are still looking for one more highly motivated and talented player to join a tremendous group of players that are both gifted on the ball field and in the classroom. If you are looking for a proven quality team and it is your ultimate goal to play at the next level please contact us to set up an evaluation at one of our team workouts.

Thanks,

This is a great opportunity for the right player. If you want your daughter to continue to develop at a brisk pace and play with a highly motivated group of players that are both talented on the ball field and in the classroom then you should look into this team. These players have their eyes on the prize! They aspire to play the sport they love while getting a great college education and they are doing what they need to do to achieve that goal. This team is currently at 11 players and will not carry less than that or more than 12. ALL playing time is earned so any new player will have the same playing time opportunity as any other player does.

UPDATED 5/19/15: We just hit the dirt for the first time a few weeks ago and at the bottom of the first inning of the first game my starting pitcher/SS had just struck out the side and hit a single when a recurrence of the injury that took her out just before Stingrays last year showed up again and she was forced immediately to leave to go get checked out. It was confirmed that it is a fracture in the same spot as last time in her L5...breaks my heart for her...all she wants to do is play ball and cant :( We went on to win the tournament but it really puts our team in a tough spot. We have a lot of versatility so we could use any STRONG pitcher or position player to fill this spot. Please contact me should you be interested in coming to a workout for an evaluation to potentially fill this spot.

The rest of our schedule consists of a few 14U ASA/USA "A" National Qualifiers (6/5-6/7 Dayton Metro, 6/12-6/14 QCU, 6/19-6/21 Heatin it up). 7/1-7/4 Orville Fire Fighters 14U, 14U "A" PGF Elite Showcase tournament 7/9-7/12 and then ASA Nationals.

Thanks,

Sonny Ross

We had a season ending injury for one of our players this past weekend and are in need of a quality player to join us for the remainder of our season. Please contact me should you be interested in an opportunity to attend a workout for an evaluation.
