OPPORTUNITY!!!
Due to unforeseen circumstances that have transpired since tryouts with a couple of players that we have developed over the past several years we are now in search of two more quality players for the upcoming season. We have already added two excellent players to our team through our tryout process who are already blossoming and benefiting from our proven developmental system....opportunity is now knocking for two more to join that process! Until now our Cincy Static Neon '01 team has experienced virtually ZERO turnover in the four years that it has existed. This is RARE and has been due to the culture here and the long term objectives that we have set out for our players to achieve.
TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The Cincy Static Neon '01 team based out of Harrison, OH is coming off of its third VERY successful season in a row. In each of the last three seasons we have qualified for and played in the ASA "A" Nationals (10U, 11U and 12U). This year we qualified for the ASA Hall of Fame, USSSA World Series and the USFA WS as well but as usual we elected to play in the 12U "A" ASA/USA Nationals in 2014. Our schedule in 2014 was mainly ASA "A" (three 12U "A" ASA/USA NQ tournaments, one 12U "A" ASA HOF NQ, two ASA ENQ) but we also played in such great events as Stingrays PGF, USFA State tourney and USSSA WSQ as well. Our 2014 fall schedule will include plenty of practice, friendlies, fall tournaments and hopefully our third annual college "light the fire" event. In the winter we will workout indoors and maybe do a couple of highly competitive indoor events. We usually start our spring schedule at the end of March or in early April depending on the weather. The 2015 schedule will be very similar to this past season with a couple of subtractions to make room for a couple of more nice additions to an already great schedule. I am heading into my 19th season coaching girls and I have a seasoned staff of coaches that include former collegiate players and varsity coaches. The coaches on our teams go the extra mile by attending the best coaching clinics available. We are also closely affiliated with what we consider to be the best pitching, hitting/slapping and catching instructors in the area. This is a very special team that is comprised of a group of committed players, parents and coaches that are dedicated to seeing every player achieve their goals...noNe dividEd and One uNited!!!
CINCY STATIC NEON '01 TEAM NEEDS 2015: TWO players...We will consider ALL positions...playing time is earned!!!
PITCHER= We will consider a strong pitcher/position player...must have great control and good command of multiple pitches.
CATCHER= We will consider a strong catcher/position player...must have a strong bat.
MIDDLE INFIELD= We will consider a strong middle infielder with speed...slapper or power would be a plus.
CORNERS= We will consider a strong corners player...must have strong bat.
OUTFIELD= We will consider a strong, speedy outfielder/utility...slapper or power would be a plus
Any player who intends to tryout for our team must possess the three A's...ATTITUDE (a good one...lol), ACADEMICS (good grades) and Athleticism (talent). She and her family MUST be committed to this sport above all others with the long term goal of playing at the next level. DISTANCE is not an issue...as long as you can make a long Sunday afternoon practice, are self motivated enough to do your work at home during the week and can make all tournaments we will consider you. We currently have several players traveling considerable distances to be a part of this team.
HOW TO SET UP AN EVALUATION:
Should you be interested in a private tryout with our team please contact us and we will arrange to evaluate your daughter in a low pressure environment at one of our team workouts. If you have any questions please contact Sonny Ross at 513-324-1447 or email us at cincystaticfastpitch@yahoo.com.
