2012 Ohio Stingrays Showcase July 6-8 18U Scores

18U Pools & Brackets are now posted in electronic form on the Stingrays website. You can also click on any team's name and see a listing of all the games that they play (updated automatically during bracket play) - Tournament Brackets | Ohio Stingrays

Also, scores will be automatically posted to Twitter as well using the @StingraysTourn username and #stingraystournament hash tag. This will allow everyone another method of viewing scores as they come in without the need to load the full bracket or pool in a web browser. Follow @StingraysTourn and get updates sent directly to you.

18U results will be posted into this thread.

Using technology supplied by the good folks at Obsidian Design (http://www.obsidiandesign.com/), coaches, players, parents, and softball fans can sign up to receive text score alerts and weather alerts for any team playing in the tournament. You can register by going to:

You will have to sign up for each team that you want to receive score alerts for - you can sign up for as many teams that you want to. The scores will be texted to you automatically when they are entered into Obsidian Design's real time web based scoring system @:

The Ohio Bandits are 2-0-1 in pool play. The Cannonburg Pa. game reported was wrong. The Bandits won that game 9-5.

Nice to see Crystl Bustos Saturday night. We were standing talking at field 5 , during the Ohio Bandits game. She came to watch a couple of kids she knew. She also was at field were the Doom gold was playing at 8PM.

Crystl was also at Beekman on Sunday. She took some pictures with some of the 10U Stingrays that were there hanging-out after their games were over. Very nice. Very approachable and she talked with anyone that wanted to talk with her.

Yes it was nice to hang out with her at a couple of our Doom Games and talk shop.. She is an awesome individual and it was cool that she stopped by at the Stingrays tournament for the action, and to suprise some of her kids!!

Super weekend and saw some great ball! Back to reality today after some long days, onto KC and Montreal... Ugh.....
