another rules question

Runner on 1st 1 out runner steals on the pitch ball is foul tipped into catchers glove. She holds on to the ball and does not drop it. Is this still a live ball or does the runner have to return to first base. I would think it would still be live but the ump called it dead and made the runner return.

Foul tip is a live ball and strike 3 if there are already 2. Did the blue call it as a foul ball, or possibly not see the catch clean? We have had several instances this year were the blue didn't see the catch because the catcher blocked their view.

A foul tip is treated EXACTLY the same as a swing and a miss.

It is a strike, the ball remains live and runners may advance.
