Just want to weigh in with a few tips I have come across over the years and seems to work well for my DD. 1.) Always dry damp batting gloves at room temperature, heating them seems to break them down faster. 2.) Store them in Zip lock bags with sneaker deodorizing balls. You'd be surprised how this keeps down that rank odor they get over time. 3.) Have at least two pairs in her bag. She uses the Mizuno Tech Fire in wet and damp weather and it does allow for better grip in wet conditions then any other shes tried. The Under Armour Motive Fastpitch glove she uses at other times. Also, if your DD plays HS ball here in the GREAT WHITE NORTHEAST OHIO, you may want to have a pair of Under Armour Coldgear Tech gloves or similar in the bag!
