Well, the best way to reduce the sting is to hit the ball with the sweet spot of the bat. As far as batting gloves go, I recommend turbo slot batting gloves. You can find them at most McSports and Dick's.

Read your post a while back and bought my DD these turbo slot batting gloves. Good timing as she needed a new pair of batting gloves. She's happy with them thus far, wore them in tryouts and now practices. Thanks.

No problem. These gloves help the batter grip the bat properly. If you're slotting the bat in the second knuckles and using the bottom three fingers on each hand to grip the bat she'll be stronger at contact.

Daughter just got her turboslots today and will hit off tee with them tomorrow, then 2 games of fall ball on Sunday. I also bought based on Cshilts recommendation and she was ready for a new set anyhow. Hope she likes em.

My DD has used them both in practice and fall ball. The gloves seem to help and also commented the extra padding was beneficial when bunting.
