Best Bat

Hi all. Its our first year in travel ball and looking for a good bat for my daughter. Any opinions on what are the best bats out there. Before anyone says it i will, I understand that the bat is only as good as the one swinging it...haha But i play slow pitch and i know that there are bats, and then BATTTTS...lol

I have always liked the Catalyst and Synergys, but they just don't make them like they use to. If I bought a new bat now it would be the Demarini CF3 or CF4, possibly a Rockettech if the strength/mechanics were in place to handle the end loaded feel.

Have used many different bats, would recommend the CF4. If you are considering a used bat, the older RT, Synergy, or CF3 will do the job.

I don't know about the new models, but the Halo and Halo Light were good bats for us. Used them in cold weather, with machine balls, etc., and never had any problems. Kept their pop too.

I use a Miken psycho for slow pitch personally. It took a while to break in but now that it is it's a great bat. As far as fastpitch I've had players with the Halos and Comps and they have all loved them. Not heard of any particular problems with any Miken bats myself.

Thanks Merlion. My dd is more of a power hitter. She might be switching to a Miken product and I was not sure would match up with that style of hitting. Freak? Any recommendations. Thanks

In slow pitch, the advantage is heavily skewed toward the bat. Fastpitch is heavily skewed toward mechanics of the swing. Let the stoning begin...

I've seen this bat used a few times in tournaments & some of the teams playing Akron Racers. The bat has a different sound when making contact with the ball. Also, I didn't see any big difference in the "big hits" versus CF4's, Synergy, etc.

Bought a used Miken Halo and worked OK, ended up using it for a cage bat when we got the CF4. Couple girls on my DD's team were using Miken Rain Light and didn't have much pop to it.

RT, Easton Stealth, Synergy, Xeno, CF3/4/5, Worth Toxic FPtox and 454, Techzilla

All good bats! Find the one that she likes the best! If she likes it and has confidence in it, then it will work for her. Not saying a $20 endroll bat will work, but all of the top baats are good bats. Miken Freak not as good as ones listed above IMO.

cf4, stealth, and now cf5 after dd was able to demo during tourney this past summer! All great bats!
