Best fastpitch bat on the market

watch college ball this past week, texas vs baylor (baylor won i believe 5-0 or 5-1) but the bat i saw the most in that game and two others was the synergy (06model) and especially in the Arizona game i believe the one team all played it. now maybe it was skewed because CSTV games were sponsered by Easton. But my DD is having good luck with it this early season.

What is your opinon of the Miken NRG? I was thinking about getting one but I am not sure.

Just got my daughter who is a junior a 33/23-2007 Easton Stealth (-10). ?She has already hit 2 HR with it this high school season so far. ?I am not sure if this bat needs to be "broken in" or not-she just used it out of the wrapper. ?She likes it alot! ?Almost got another one over the fence with it today-ended up putting a big dent in the softball! ?

Our school had ?the same length/weight yellow Catalyst last year that she used-it ?broke completely in two at the handle when she hit with it. ?

DD was using a Synergy and loved it...until it got stolen this winter. She never liked the Rocket Tech, but used a teammates 07 RT and hit well with it so we bought one. We have 2 of these on our HS team and most of the girls use them. Ball comes off this bat well.

Ok, I'm going to go old school and go with the old Lisa Fernandez black with gold writing bottle bat. I think it was a -10 and it was as hot as a firecracker.

I have an 05 Rockettech but it is starting to be too short for me so I am looking to buy a new bat. I am interested in the new Rockettech or the Miken NRG. Has anyone really heard anything good or bad about the miken?

LadyWarriers, your right the rip it does have ?pop, while talking to a rep from their company, was told that their biggest competition was the RT as far as the pop goes.... still waiting to get it used in a game situtation , all shes been able to do so far is do tee work on the field with it,,,, but from the tee is still putting it over the fence, will be interesting to see what it does to a pitched ball

DD has had some nice hard hits with the Rip It. They are solid line drives, whereas she seems to pop up more with the RT. However, her over the fence HR hit Thursday night was with the 05 RT. She's really torn between the 2 bats.

Does anyone have any opinions about the 2006 DeMarini Evo? My DD has one and really likes it. I've hit with it a couple of times to see how the ball pops off of the bat and it really seems to fly off of it. Granted, I don't have a lot of other bats to compare it with, but I like it.

Anyway, apparently it is a closeout item now and can be bought cheap. Some say they've found it on eBay for $50 or less.

The price of the EVO caught our eye too. We picked up a new one on eBay for $36 + $15 shipping.
Notably less pop from the EVO vs. our DD's favorite, the Synergy, but for $50, the EVO is a nice bat for the cage.

My daughters 07 RT had alot of pop down in Loudonville this past weekend.She also uses the new Rip Elite in cold weather,andthat has pop.

I vote the RT. My 12U daughter has hit 9 HR's (7 over the fence) in our first three tournaments so far this year. It's a great bat for the right swing.
