***CINCY STATIC 8U-14U (NEON NATION) TRYOUTS COMING UP SOON ***

We are a well established organization with players, coaches and instructors that are based out of Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. 2013 will mark our 8th year as an organization and the third year that the "neon nation" contingent has existed autonomously. We have a Cincy Static Neon '03 team that was born in August 2011. This very young team has competed "UP" in 10U select fall and spring leagues as well as in ASA "A" and USSSA tournaments for last two years with a visionary long term goal of building a strong '03/04' team for the upcoming 2014 season. We also have an 11U Cincy Static Neon '02 team that was born in August 2012 that was built from a core of the four remaining '02 players that we split from the '01's that had to move up to the 12U division this past season. This '02 team has a current 2013 record of 38-16 and achieved its goal to qualify for and compete in the ASA/USA 10U "A" Nationals just as their sister team did in 2012. In addition to that we have the Cincy Static Neon '01 team that was born in August 2010. This team was built from a core of '01 players that had to move up to 12U by Sonny Ross who founded the original Cincy Static College Exposure Division back in 2008 and who is heading into his 18th season of coaching. Our 2013 goal for the '01 team was to play against the strongest '00 ASA "A" level teams in an effort to develop and prepare for this teams true 12U season in 2014. This young team has exceeded its goals with a current record of 51-16 and qualified for the ASA/USA 12U "A" Nationals and elected to compete in the 12U ASA "A" Northern. The ASA/USA "A" National is by far the most prestigious and challenging event to gain a berth to in ALL of fastpitch softball. Their will be many qualifying teams traveling from California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Florida etc. to play in this event. Please visit www.cincystaticfastpitch.com to pre register online for one of our tryouts.

We anticipate that our organization will consist of an 8U/9U, 10U, 11U, 12U and 13U/14U team in 2014. All of our teams have successfully played a very competitive schedule this year and will play a very competitive schedule once again next year. Coaches to be announced shortly!

Our goal is to not only continue to develop stellar athletes who go on to play at the next level but more importantly to develop quality human beings and productive citizens who value honesty, loyalty and integrity. Many important life lessons are learned through competition and "competition breeds success"! We stress the importance of our players possessing what we call "the three A's", ATTITUDE(a good one), ACADEMICS(good grades)and ATHLETICISM (talent)! These three attributes are required in a player that seeks to garner a collegiate scholarship. Ultimately it is our goal to help these ladies in their efforts to receive a great collegiate education while playing the sport they love!

Our core philosophies are fairly simple. An organization is only as strong as the people it is comprised of. We are very particular about who we allow to coach on our teams. Our coaching staff consists of very experienced coaches and collegiate stand outs. We have affiliations with the most sought after pitching and hitting instructors in the area. Three of the basic ingredients in a successful team is strong pitching, great defense and timely hitting with an emphasis on fundamentals, development and a belief in our team motto:

"Successful Teams Achieve Through Individual Commitment".

We will be holding open tryouts for 8U, 9U, 10U,11U, 12U, 13U and 14U players. The 8U-10U Saturday dates are from 10:00am-12:00pm and the 11U-14U are from 1:00pm-3:00pm on each tryout date. Very good organization. I have two daughters in this organization and this past year was the first year of travel ball for both. I couldn't be more pleased with how they both have developed over this year. The progress that they both have made in all facets of the game are staggering. Not only does this staff emphasize fundamentals, but what really pleased me was the amount of importance they put on academic excellence as well as good sportsmanship. Very good group for those who are interested

We appreciate you saying that Joe, but this only works with great Families such as the Horton's and the hard work and dedication you instill in your Girls. I LOVE watching J-Dog and Scoop play and grow as Players and Young Ladies. I look forward to big things for both of them.

Hey Joe,

I echo what Jet said. Has been a ton of fun to watch J-dogg anf Scoop develop from the first day of fall ball until now and it will continue...the sky is the limit! I think that you would agree that their progress and development has been substantial and that is to the testament of the commitment that you, Shannon and the girls have made...they have worked HARD! You have been given some tools and have used them well! We are so happy to have you guys as part of the Static Neon family! Keep up the good work!

Cincy Static has certainly gained a lot of respect over the past few years for their hard work and repeated achievements. It takes not only great players, but great parents that take the time to seek growth for their daughters by putting trust into great coaching staffs such as this organization. It is such a reward to see such a close knit family of players, parents, and coaches who build from one another each day. I coach on the Cincy Static 12U team and played on the first "official" Cincy Static team that went on to make a name for the organization, competing in the best of the best tournaments all over the country and eventually garnering an Athletic Scholarship to play College Ball. My dream as a little girl came true because of this organization, and specifically because of the people involved (My dad), when he sat down and created the Successful Teams Achieve Through Individual Commitment slogan and taught me how to work hard for what I wanted. I love coaching these girls and watching them grow day to day and season to season. The commitment is outstanding and the results are rewarding. It's come to the point now where the girls can see and make their own adjustments and then smile after shooting one over the fence. Static Neon is a great place to be if you are willing to work hard and have a goal to get to the next level, whether that may be Varsity ball in High School or College Ball. We have a great group of committed players, families, and coaches that work hard together in long-term fashion. We are here to develop girls and teach them how to play and grow not only as players, but as young ladies. Come on out and see for yourselves what the Neon Nation has to offer for your daughter! Our season certainly isn't over as we are still playing and planning for our ASA "A" Nationals trip, but I am thoroughly excited to see what next year has to bring for our organization. Thanks to all we have encountered this season for the compliments on our growth and skill as a team this season!

I am looking forward to our 2013 Cincy Static Neon tryouts. We are so fortunate to have so many great Coaches, Players, Parents and Instructors within our "neon nation family" who get it and that is by design. This has been another very exciting, successful and rewarding season for me to coach. I will be coaching the 12U team in the upcoming season and cannot wait to get started! It all begins with committed parents who are willing to listen and learn right along with their daughters as they grow. Our players work hard both in the classroom and on the ball field and there is a direct correlation between the two and the success that is achieved. We are NOT about the "drama" that you see elsewhere and with certain people who seem to THRIVE on that. We are focused on our players and the long term minded folks that value Integrity, loyalty and honesty as not all do! If you are a committed parent and your daughter aspires to exhibit our "three A's"...Attitude(a good one), Academics (works hard in the classroom) and Athleticism (talent...raw or not because we understand what the title "coach" means!) then we invite you to come and check us out! Thanks! Coach Sonny

I watched the 01' team practice this week. Sonny and his staff run the best practice i've seen. If you want your daughter to be challenged and taught the proper fundamentals give this group a serious look.

Thanks Reddog15...I really appreciate the compliment. Coming into tryouts we always tell people to use due diligence and to be especially leery of those that promise the moon but have no track record to prove they can deliver. I have seen it so many times when a parent is sold a bill of goods and then ends up wasting a year of their life. At a time when so many coaches with an agenda are trying to "sway" parents it is good to hear from those that actually have taken the time to see what is out there give an honest assessment based on their own experience. Thanks Again! Coach Sonny

My daughter was given an opportunity to join this team mid-season last year. Her skill set and confidence as a player have sky rocketed since. There are very simple reasons why:

1. Organized and fast pace practice with emphasis on fundamentals. Attention to detail.
2. Candid and insightful evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, and potential.
3. Clear direction on exactly how she fit, what she needed to do, what she could become, and where to get the best private instruction.
4. Quality and integrity of the surrounding parents/coaches/players. Absence of "drama".

I couldn't possibly be more pleased with where we are playing at. The upcoming years are going to be thrilling for this team. The future is bright for these young ladies.

And now I believe she leads the Team in hitting (which is saying something) and she hit her first over the fence bomb this past tournament. I think Thumper joining the Team was a win/win for everyone Sarge.

After watching my daughter fill in as a guest player. This is the first and hopefully the only tryout she will attend. Very good group of players, coaches and families. This tryout should be at the top every 12u player within the region.

I have been fortunate to have the honor of coaching the '02 Neon Ladies this year! To see where these players are at compared to last fall is simply amazing. Hard work, dedication and the will too win have gotten us to this point. We also use a proven system of developing players throughout the season. We have so many great families that put the work in at home and it shows. I am fortunate to have a supporting cast of great coaches too! Without coaches: John, Shawn, Jeff, Joe and John we could not have accomplished our goal of attending the ASA, USA "A" Nationals. We have a VERY STRONG core group of players returning and are looking to build on that core for next year.

As a coach of the 03' team, we are looking forward to tryouts and seeing what young ladies want to be a part of Neon Nation. We had a very successful year as we were the youngest team on the field in every game we played, but we definitely are looking for the 'right fits' to round out our roster and be a serious contender in every tourney we play in next year. Parents, as you come to tryouts, please intro yourself to any of the coaches and ask questions. Please keep in mind that not only does this have to be right for our team, more importantly, this has to be the right choice for your family as well.

As a parent, I couldnt be happier with the progression of my DD. The player that she is today versus where she was at one year ago is astonishing. The Neon family stresses fundamentals within the game and being held to high standards. In addition, the focus on being an excellent student was/is stressed within Static Neon unlike any other org I had seen when I was 'that parent' going to different org's tryouts. If you want your DD challenged in the classroom as well as on the field, give us a look.

My younger daughter played for Coach Chris on the Cincy Static Neon '02 team. They are the perfect example of our coaching model of recognizing talent (raw or not) and then coaching them up by using a proven system of player development. The key at 10U is not getting stuck on looking at where a player is but to recognize where she can be with the proper direction and a strong work ethic. These talented players worked hard all year long and not only met their goals as a team but in my mind they far exceeded them. I am so proud of these coaches and players for their accomplishments this season...Great job guys!

We are so happy to have you, Jacki and Squirt as a part of our "neon nation" family. You guys understand the value in setting long term goals both in the classroom and on the ball field. It is hard to believe that squirt was just an 8U player this season...I LOVE watching her play! Thanks for all that you guys do to make Cincy Static Neon '03 the team that it is.

Just to clarify that our :yahoo: PREVIEW TRYOUT ON 7/22/13 :yahoo:is something new that we are trying. We decided to do this just prior to our teams taking off for their respective ASA Nationals tournaments in order to allow players that may want an early look to get one since so many tryouts fall on the same dates after Nationals. This also gives our coaches a trial run for a weekday tryout should another one be necessary to schedule. We look forward to and welcome anybody who wants to take advantage of this opportunity. Thanks! Cincy_Static

What a great year for the Cincy Static Neon 10 u. With a great bunch of girls that have worked hard, great work ethic and great sportsmanship through out the year. We have met the challenges of a bunch of tri-state teams and had a great year. Coach Chris D. (10u Head Coach) has put together a great set of girls and coaching staff. He is looking foward to putting a team together for next year. Most of the girls will be moving up to 11u/12u status for next year.
The 12 u team also put together a great year with a trip to the Nationals this year at Bloomington In. and the 10 u team also will be heading to Bowling Green KY to attend the National for there age group.
The 9u/10u team ran by Coach Brandon also had a successful year as well. They kept up with alot of 2nd year 10u teams and beat most of the 9u teams out there.
Without the great work ethics organized from top to bottum we wouldn't be as strong as we are. We believe in integrity in all age groups and pride ourselves at getting better each year. Keep up the hard work girls and strive to get better. Thanks Cincy Static Neon for putting up great teams....
The tryouts for these teams will be a great challenge for new girls to come aboard. We are looking for girls, parents for long term. Tryouts are listed above. I am so proud to be a part of this organization for many reasons. One is the fact that everything that Coach Sonny has has promised has come true. His integrity goes a long way in my book. My girl has palyed with Cincy Static Neon since she was 8 years old, playing up with 10 u players. She has developed into a great player. Thanks Cincy Static Neon for teaching my girl to become the player she is today!!!Coach JJ of Cincy Static Neon
