I rebuilt the off-season workout. It now combines flexibility, strength, and speed. Coach Sonny has the spreadsheet to share with all Static Neon teams/coaches. It will automatically track/measure improvement over baseline. It emphasizes individual accountability, competition, and rewards for performance that our girls will thrive on. Really looking forward to watching the progress...... "You get what you inspect, not what you expect"

There was a bit of confusion on our website www.cincystaticfastpitch.com concerning registration forms and birth years. This has been corrected on our web page and I apologize for any confusion that this may have caused.

FYI...8U is born in 2005, 9U is born in 2004, 10U is born in 2003, 11U is born in 2002, 12U is born in 2001, 13U is born in 2000 and 14U is born in 1999.​

We hope to see some of you at our preview tryout tomorrow from 6-9pm at The Harrison Community center located at 475 Industrial Dr. Harrison, OH 45030. Should weather become an issue please check the first post on this thread or our website for the most up to date information.

The weather almost washed us out but then the clouds parted and the sun started shining as brightly as the NEON in our uniforms I would like to personally thank all of the parents, players and coaches who attended our "preview tryout" this past evening. We saw good talent at all age groups and will definitely be making a few offers soon. It was tough getting to see all of the players in attendance in 3 hours but the use of multiple fields made it a little bit easier...thank you for your patience! Each parent/player will be contacted with one of three options. 1) An offer to sign 2) An offer to return to the next tryout 3) We do not think your daughter is the right fit at this time. Please give us a few days to go through all of the forms and to fairly evaluate each players paperwork.

Hello from the ASA Class A Northern Nationals. The Cincy Static Neon 01 Girls had a great time at the opening ceremonies last night. I hope everyone can experience Nationals at least once. The Girls won their first pool game over the PV X-Plosion '00 (Pleasant Valley, IA) 7-2. You can check out our progress on our Cincy Static Neon 01 Facebook page.

Just returned from ASA A Nationals with our '01 and '02 teams. It is always a good time but it also marks the end of the season and the beginning of a new one as tryouts now become the focus. We look forward to the upcoming tryouts. We will be making some exciting announcements concerning head coaches and team additions over the next couple of weeks as we go through this process. Getting through that number of girls is tough without a lot of help so thank you! We saw some real talent and look forward to making some additions as we move forward through tryouts. I would like to applaud these young Ladies, as well as their Parents, for the attitude and enthusiasm displayed during yesterday's workout. It was truly a pleasure to work with such a dedicated group.

Just wanted to clarify what my Cincy Static Neon '01 team needs are as we go into our first official tryout this coming Saturday. We are looking to add 3-4 players to our team through tryouts. We will look at players for ALL positions!!! We have a tremendously dedicated and committed group of wonderful players, parents, coaches and instructors that will continue to drive this team forward as we progress over the long term. in 2013 we competed at the 12U ASA "A" level as a young 11U team and had great success. We competed well at the 12U ASA "A" level Nationals but ended up losing two heartbreak one run games (one in ITB) that ended our run at a National Championship. It is our goal to fill the gap this year to become a National contender at ASA "A" Nationals next season. We have looked at several '01 players through our preview tryout and a private tryout that we held this past Sunday. The ideal candidates for our team will possess the following attributes. Offensively: STRONG BAT...which could mean lefty slapper with speed, line drive hitter, pure power hitter or all of the above...a high OBP is important. If you have the potential then that is what is most important to us. We can get the right player there offensively through hard work and proper instruction. Defensively: PITCHER...we could add one more STRONG pitcher to our mix if it is the right fit. CATCHER...we will consider very strong and versatile candidates only. UTILITY...we are in need of a middle infielder with excellent range and a very strong arm. CORNERS...we will consider very strong and versatile candidates only. OUTFIELD...we are in need of a speedy, versatile outfielder with a strong arm. Mentality: ATTITUDE (a good one)! ACADEMIC (works hard in the class room) and ATHLETIC (talent) with a willingness to run through a brick wall to make a play! Hope to see you at tryouts!

What are your team needs for the 10U team?

The existing returning core of 10U players consists of one very strong pitcher, a strong catcher, a strong middle infielder, one strong corners type player, strong lefty outfielder/1b and one utility. We will be looking at tryouts to add another strong pitcher, another strong catcher/3b, a speedy outfielder and utility type player and maybe a 1b to the existing core.

The Cincy Static Neon '01 team is able to take up to two more players and we will not make the final decision on these final two spots until after the next tryout. We are very excited about the direction that this team is heading. I look forward to seeing all of you this coming Saturday 8/17.

Our next and most likely our final tryout will be this upcoming Saturday 8/17 at The Harrison Community Center Located at 475 Industrial Dr. Harrison, OH 45030. Beyond that date we will consider doing private tryouts upon request if the player appears to be a possible fit into one of our teams.

Tryouts went extremely well. We have a great bunch of girls that have joined our team. The parents that make up this team for the Cincy Static Neon 12u our outstanding. They have stepped up already to the expectations that are needed for a select ball team. The team is just about complete. The 2nd 12 u team coached by John J is looking really falling into place. I am very impressed with the amount of girls that came out to tryouts. Thanks again to all that came out....
