Has anyone heard that ASA, OHSSA, etc. are considering taking some of the pop out of the composite bats. Just a rumour I heard.

Google the ASA website and look under equipment or bats and you should find the information you are looking for there.

Also Google ASA batting standards and it may have the explanation of 2004 and the policies regarding the changes.

All the 09 bats are already set to a new standard. Again as above go to the ASA website and you will find all the approved and nonapproved bats, site was updated this week I believe.
