Examples of Player Profiles

Anyone have a good source for examples of well done player profiles? I can certainly come up with my own, but would be helpful if college coaches could show us exactly what they want.

Just look at the different Organizational websites that post profiles and get a good idea of what is out there. Then you can make your own with all of the different ideas that are out there.

Consider purchasing the book, "Preparing to Play Softball at the Collegiate Level" by Catharine Aradi. You can purchase it thru NCAA website or Amazon. The book gives you samples of Profile Sheet, introduction letters, an entire list of colleges from DI to NAIA listed by state, if the college offers scholarship money for softball, what the costs are in-state/out-of-state, tuition/fees and housing, softball coaches name and address, telephone number, email address, public/private school, size, setting. Very good resource....

Use the player profiles to email coaches etc... but as a team, coaches the more we get into don't want the player profile books, they want a one page team roster, or something less bulky.... We went to a tri-fold type brochure after talking with DI coaches and they are easier to update and print and easier to carry with your to tournaments.

I like how you also include youtube video with the player profiles online.
