Lasers White finished the weekend with a 6-0 record. Scoring 51 runs while giving up a total of 12 runs.

I thought the finals were fitting. Many of you might not know but the Indy Elite knocked the Lasers White out of the NSA World Series in Columbus last season. The Lasers led most of the game and lost it in the bottom of the 7th...with 2 outs! This time, the Elite took an early 3-0 first inning lead, but the Lasers came back took the lead in the middle innings and held on. What a great tournament!

I agree...what a great tournament!!! Indiana softball is always top notch and it was the first time I've ever been involved (coach or parent) with a team that went over to Indiana and went undefeated.

What a great way to develope for next year, and all 4 pitchers pitched in multiple games, as E.M. and A.H. were clearly in full mid season form.

It was also great to find out that we clearly have 2 top notch Leadoff hitters in H.W. and L.R., as one was injured (H.W.) and the other (L.R.) picked up right where the other left off.

And the power was led by K.B. who hit 4HR's (2 of them absolute bombs) of the 7 HR's total, and L.L. with a HR and many gap shots on her way to a .600 tourney.

It would have been a complete weekend if 2 of my favorites (D.P. and N.M.) were there with us, but we'll see them for our Janurary schedule!!!
