Each school has to police themselves, and notify the OHSAA of any wrong doings. The OHSAA will no longer take calls from individuals, you must go thru your HS athletic director.

Lady Knight: Not sure, but I thought that all non paid coachs now have to be board approved and a back ground search done? I thought this rule went into effect last year due to all the new security rules and insurance reguirements. Even in Rec ball, all coachs now have to have a back ground check , or our insurance will not cover us.

Why does OHSAA care if these coaches coach during off season. And why are they not allowed to start coaching their HS teams until after 12/19? What difference does it make?
