Been there ... fun Best Rec. Team make it. Solid sometimes VERY Good teams. But that was a couple yrs ago. So many have went to Travel. I am not so sure. Where they playing ?

It's where the current Elyria SunDogs 18-u started.
An OGSO State Championship, 3 NSA State Championships, an ASA State Championship, two ASA State Runner-ups, ASA "A Nationals 5th place, NSA Super World Series Championship, an NSA World Series Runner-up and an NSA World Series 3rd place and we are still playing. Up until last year we still had 8 players thru it all. Age restrictions have that number down this year.

DD's weekday team made it to the state championship. I only know about other teams from Lorain-Medina where many travel team players use it as weekday league. So I was curious if anyone knows what level of competition to expect from outside of our area. I'm not interested in another rec ball bashing session. DD's team scored 211 runs and gave up only 32 runs in 18 games so they are a decent team. I see alot of travel teams at tournaments that couldn't beat them and some that they actually beat in a earlybird tournament this year before their season. Remember plenty of bad softball is played on the weekends.

Two of the Portage area teams last year were undefeated coming into the state tournament. They were both good teams. LMOGSO teams took 1st and 3rd in the state. I am guessing your DD plays for Amherst?

Most teams in the league play have travel players on them and the #1 team was mostly travel players. But you have your opinion and thats fine because I really don't care what Y'all think.:lmao:

Thats what I was trying to find out. We have 2 travel players and it appears that in Our area that most teams have about the same. Only 1 team the #1 plays tournaments together as a team during the season. We play OGSO because our city rec league wouldn't be helpful even for practice and our tournament team doesn't play during the week. Here its considered a step up from rec and teams have tryouts. I thought it was that way in all the counties involved.
