Just wondering why every thread reads "new" even though some have not had activity for several weeks. Seems like that would keep others down the list. Just wondering
You see the lable "new" if there has been a post on the thread since the last time you were logged on - even if the post has been deleted by the author. Some posters keep their thread on top by posting a reply and then deleting it, which is acceptable. The continual posting of "bump" and "ttt" is not allowed but posting and deleting is legal.
After a while (about 90 days I think)the fact that you have read a thread will also expire. You won't generally notice this as the posts are on about page 10....
