Both my girls wear the rip it. They say it feels better, and they can see better. The older is a pitcher and is more secure in the mound with it on. We got them at dunhams one had the defender, and the other had gameface, now they forget they are wearing the ripit masks. I have seen the younger 11u wearing it in the dugout, she just forgot she had it on.

My DD bought one at a tournament this year and loves it.
Conpared to the game face, she feels like she sees a lot better and it is a lot lighter than the game face. It is also not as bulky as the game face. She said it kind of reminds her of a slimmer version of the cage on her helmet.

Last year, my daughter wore the Gameface (but did not like it due to decreased visibility) but I purchased her the Rip-it mask this year at Kohlmeyer Sporting Goods in Lorain.

They have a website that carries them and some tournaments will have a set up with them too.

I got my DD one this year and she loves it. Got it on line at Softballjunk.com. Would recommend it for all. She pitches and it doesnt interfere at all she said. She can even adjust her glasses through them.

Agree with Shark99. My DD was using the Game Face and has issues with interference with her glasses. Purchased Rip It from Softballjunk and commented that feels like she's not wearing protection gear.

One of the drawbacks to wearing protective equipment is not able to wear a visor and block the sun. Too bad they don't make a lightly tinted plastic clip on the Rip It to serve as sun glasses, assuming your DD is wearing glasses.
