Non-expert answer would say yes.

There are people on OFC who can quote OHSAA rules in their sleep. And I'm sure they'll be here soon...

Is the school team sanctioned/school sponsored?

I believe I read on here once before, that when a sanctioned team plays an unsanctioned team, the OHSAA rules then apply to the unsanctioned team. The context of that post was regarding a sanctioned school team playing a unsanctioned school team. I would imagine that this would fall under the same umbrella.

It is my understanding that a travel team cannot scrimmage a sanctioned school team, but it is permissible for them to "practice" together on the same field.

Now what I remember was if it is called a game with a official ( OHSAA ) it could be listed with rules effecting status of players.

A practice setting with no Sanctioned official and no paper trail that the Government could say is COVERT OPS would say it never happened.

JMO let the girls play ball!
