Being a HS coach, you will probably not see many 14U or 16U teams at your April tourney. This is right in the middle of HS Season.

I'm sure there will be alot of 14U teams that carry enough 13's to compete in this tourney. Get an early start on the competition and see where you need to improve.

that is a good point Lady_Knight. My daughters team is all 13 year olds but 3 of them are involved in their middle school program. So they can't participate until their season is over

DD's playing Jr. High ball can continue to play in tourney's with their select team. They do not fall under the same rules as high school. Just had all of this explained to me by several different sources.

In order to benifit everyone, we have changes the date of the SDS Summer Classic to July 19th-20th. This decision was made after several parks in our area ?announced their tournaments dates. We don't want to compete with anyone. We just want teams to come play ball and have a great time. Last years event was a huge success. Everyone that attended had a very good time. We are hoping this event will grow in 2008. We hope everyone adds this tournament to their 2008 schedule.

THE SDS "SPRING INTO FASTPITCH TOURNAMENT" APRIL 12th & 13th, WILL BE A NATIONAL QUALIFIER. WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START OFF THE 2008 SEASON. WE ALSO ARE PLANNING SOMETHING FOR THE 2nd ANNUAL SDS SUMMER CLASSIC IN JULY. TRENTON IS A GREAT PLACE TO BRING YOUR TEAMS. THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE FUNNEST TOURNAMENTS TO PLAY BALL AT IN 2008. GREAT CONCESSION, GOOD UMPIRES AND SOME AWESOME COMPETITION. WHAT MORE COULD ANYONE ASK FOR.

The list of teams for the classic is posted up above. The 14U field is filling up quick. As you can see, we already have 9 in that group. I think we'll take 12 if we can get them.
