Bad weekend for a tourney. Alot of teams will either be coming back from or going to world series the weekend of the 20-22. Just trying to give you a heads up before you get to far along and do not have enough teams.

Yeah we were aware of the World Series that week, there are alot of teams out there that in reality will not go. This will give them somewhere to play that weekend and also give them a head start for next year. There ?was also the posibility of us running this the weekend of July 14-15 as a last chance qualifier. We are waiting on some responses.

Chris, I think that the week of July 14th and 15th would be much better attended around this part of the state. If you look not at what tournaments are being hosted that weekend there is only one around here. Could be a nice posibility for you.

I think that running it on the 20th - 22nd you will not get many teams. Just my opinion.

Either way good luck on getting it off the ground. Also good luck this weekend.

Thanks Paul and Rich for your comments. We have decided that we will see how much of an intrest there is if we would back this tournament up by one week.
It is not a problem to change the dates. USSSA will santion this as a last chance qualifier for weekend of July13-15. If anyone is intrested in playing in this tournament that weekend please respond. Reguardlless of the dates, this tournament is going to be fun, We are also going to be giving away door prizes throughout the tournament. If anyone in intrested in having a good time before the big weekend, this is the place to go.

I have had 3 10U teams e-mail me with the same question. None have committed. I think they are all waiting for the first one to committ. (Just my opinion)
