Does anyone have any knowledge on what kind of organizations these two groups might be, or what kind of tournaments they may put on. ?Just trying to get any ideas as to whether a world series by either of these two groups would be decent to attend.

Why don't you just do ASA and you won't have to worry about it......?????
In all reality, I have been to a good number of different sanctioning tournaments... there are good and bad tournaments in each. The real key are the people that run the tournament since most sanctioning bodies do not tell tournament directors how to run their tournaments.

SEAA puts on a pretty nice event, Jim & Freddie Mullins have been running World Series for at least 10 years. You will find mostly southern teams there and most are pretty strong overall - competition will be very simular to USSSA and NSA World Series. The umpiring is not very good and being a Yankee Team doesn't help must either, but it all comes down to playing the game.

You won't be sorry with the class of the show.

Hope this helps...

My daughter has played down in Pigeon Forge for the SEAA Nationals. The fields are sweet! They are red clay infields and well kept. Night games are something to behold. Just awesome to be apart of. Neat having the mountains in the background. The tournament is very well ran and organized, top notch overall. You will get a mixture of teams talent wise. There will be some very strong powerhouses to your average team,to some teams just happy to play in it,including a few rec teams. You dont haft to qualify to play SEAA. There has been complaints from other teams also about the umps, but you will get that anywhere I guess. Most teams are from the south (Tennessee,Georgia,South Carolina,ect....).

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is a great place for the girls to hang out at and have fun. Here is a couple sites for ya for hotels and activities just in case you dont have them.

Ive talked or emailed Freddie many of times the past couple of years. They go out of their way to make sure you and your team is satisfied.
The SEAA Nationals would be a great choice to play in! If you need their phone numbers or email just let me know.
