I have about 3 acres to mow. How many goats do you think I'll need?

1 goat is good for about 1000 Square yards, you have three acres so you need 14.5 goats, I would suggest either going with 14 or 15, that half a goat can get messy.
How about 14 and pygmy??
Yes you could use 14 goats and a Pygmy or just so its easier to deal with just go 28 Pygmys, or whatever the plural for Pygmy is ?;D

1) In the fall I ripped out all of the old shrubs and replaced them with really small, slow growing plants. The next time I trim shrubs my 16 yr old pitcher and 14 year old catcher will be in college. ;D

2) Time management helps too. We have 7 quartz flood lights in the back yard to light up our 2 pitching lanes. So, I am also able to cut grass at 10pm. ;)

3) I don?t fertilize the grass anymore. So it doesn?t grow as fast. :-[

4) Planting a row of sunflowers across the back fence this year. Doesn?t reduce yard work but will cut down on my trips to the store to buy seeds.

There's nothing better than sitting in the blazing sun all day at a tournament then coming home to mow the 2 acres of rolling countryside at 10pm with the the only light being the moon and a single headlight. When the job ends around midnight you feel like a job well done... until daylight hits and the 3 foot wide sections you missed show up. OOPS better luck next month. ;D

I married a woman who is 8 yrs younger and she mows the grass while I am coaching. During the dry season when the grass doesn't need to be mowed... she comes to my games. A match made in heaven.

Johnnies you are a lucky man. We tar and feather any woman who mows in our neighborhood. They can't blow our cover that women can't mow ;D
