The Bees got one run with two outs in the sixth and added another in the seventh to earn a 2-1 Senior Day victory over Judson in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday at the St. Vincent Athletic Complex.

After honoring the team's three seniors - Megan Ballegeer, Julie Trellicoso and Ashley Yattoni - between games, St. Ambrose was unable to complete the sweep, dropping the second game 4-3.

SAU trailed 1-0 after a Judson home run in the second. A two-out rally in the sixth tied the game. Christina Pembrook singled, stole second and came around to tie the game on Morgan Krieger's RBI single up the middle. It was Krieger's second hit of the game.

The rally made a winner of Yattoni, who went the distance, allowing six hits and one run.

SAU started the second game with another two-out run as Krieger doubled to score Logan Frerichs for a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. But Judson (25-17, 8-7 CCAC) took the lead with a three-run third inning.
