Rosemont, Ill. – The Tigers opened up their season at the NAIA Leadoff Tournament with two wins. The first came against Michigan-Dearborn in a nine-inning thriller, with the first run of the game coming in the second inning, when Makenna Emerson (SR/Coal City, Ill.) singled to center field and drove in Alli Davis (JR/Mount Zion, Ill. ). The Tigers would then have a strong sixth inning, scoring three more runs. Emerson would provide support again with a single that drove in two of the runs.
