Is Sparta west of Mt.Vernon

I think so! It is close to Mt. Vernon, within 20 miles. You can find it at the intersection of St. Rt. 314 and St. Rt. 229. Only 10 minutes from I-71.

This is a nice facility, with plenty of parking. I'm really curious and excited to see a fastpitch tourney being played in Morrow county. Alot of girls from this area are starting to get into travel ball and I personally think this will spark further interest.
Yes, Sparta is west of Mt.Vernon and roughly 6 miles north of Centerburg. It sits in the southeast corner of Morrow county.
Its a good plan by the TD to have the format that he is using, because there is absolutely nothing to do in this area and its out in the sticks. Good idea to bring yourself some entertainment.

My daughter is so excited about her team playing in this tournament! FINALLY, a tournament we don't have to drive an hour, minimum, to attend! 10 minutes from our driveway to the field! WAHOO! Should be a great weekend!

Can anyone be of help? I am trying to find a hotel in the area and the only hotels I can find are in Mansfield. Is there anything closer to sparta.
