Does anyone know where I can find a good Excel spreadsheet or free website for stats? We have 3 years of HS stats that encompasses a huge stack of papers & dd is trying to figure out her career stats so far.
This is the website I use. It works great and is free. YOu can pay to upgrade it for use as a team site as well. If nothing else give it a try, and see how you like it.
send me an email and I'll send you mind. I have one that is good and sent out to others in the past. Won't be able to send it till after I get back to the office on July 5th. Please email me... do not PM me... I'll be over the 100 PM limit before you know it...
BTW, there's an older thread about this very subject and several others on OFC have their own sheets. One was very nice and I have a copy of it. I can't remember who sent it till I get to the office and see it. It was very detailed.
I made my own...what started small has turned into a major undertaking. excel 2007 is a lot more friendly with totalling sheets within the book. I wish i would have known about the free websites, but now i am use to mine. Just start building and just make adjustments when you learn something new. Double check your formula off the internet ATEC has all the formulas there for you.
They have some nice stats programs built using Excel for free on the Internt.Probably try to download one of those programs and also use some advanced Excel features such as pivot tables were you can easily chart data, trends, etc. We'll see how that goes.
I know a high schoolhead coach who has a membership at www.scorebooth.com, which he uploads with pitching, fielding, and hitting stats after every game and makes it available to all players. Everyone knows exactly what the official stats are at any time of the season and they can be downloaded to excel if you wish to do more with them.
