Here is the deal. We are trying to put on a tournament for a little girl needing a transplant. Ofcourse not enough takers so far, because it is the last weekend of July and First weekend of August. I know ppl are tired and new tryouts are going on. This little girl had to have her pic line removed bc of sores and replaced Friday. She has a tube feed in through her nose, and is having to live 3 hours away from home. If I can get the fields labor day weekend instead would anyof you sign up? This isn't for me, it's for this infant in need of a transplant. She is not related to me, she is from the same town, I feel as a parent of 3 and a health care worker I need to do something for her. She is precious. I think anyone of us would feel blessed to have a group of strangers come together for our child. I know softball families are true to that. Yes this will still be a ASA Qualifier for 2011. This tournament is to raise money for her care and to make organ donations very aware. Thank you. T shirts are available that say Team ABBY on them also. It will be for 10U-16U still.
